I spoke with artist and client Kay Kiria just last week to catch up on things and while it’s been a stretch since we last spoke we picked up as if it had been just yesterday.
What I love about working with artists is seeing how each both harnesses and unleashes (if that makes sense) their own personal brand of creativity. The myriad ways in which artists find and express themselves is limitless and a fascinating look into the creative mind.
Because each artist is unique, each has a vision of how they want to present themselves. I worked with Florida-based artist and poet Kay Kiria on her artist bio which you can read here.
No matter how the bio is conceived by the artist, the process is the same. We start out with a phone call to hammer down the initial plan and move from there with a series of drafts, with phone conversations in between until we’re both pleased with the outcome.
Discover more about Kay here, and if you need help with your bio, don’t hesitate to get in touch by email beth@bethlowell.com or just pick up the phone and call. (973) 960 – 6464
