Artist statements, bios, resumes, proposals, where do you start?
My Ethos
I help artists connect to their audience by focusing on three key elements of a successful professional marketing dossier –content, clarity and organization.
I Believe
Your art is as unique as you are. But as beautiful as it is, it can’t speak for itself. If you won’t speak for your work, who will?

Meet Me
My name is Beth Lowell.
As fellow artists we walk the same path trying to figure out the best way to communicate to the world about our work. If you’re looking to lower the overwhelm factor and build a solid marketing package I’d love to talk.
Art is what I’ve identified with my whole life. Writing is second nature. I am equally at home in both worlds and my passion is editing.
If you hate writing, I can write for you to deliver your message in a well-organized way that reflects who you are and is true to your voice and vision.
If you’ve already written a draft, I can help you get it into its best shape for your audience, whether that is your collector, a gallerist or a curator.
Because I am an artist I am familiar with everything that needs to go into your marketing tool kit from your artist statement and bio to your resume. I can assist with grant writing, artist presentations and web copy, all of which rely on good organization of your message so that your collectors, gallerists and curators get a clear, succinct understanding of who you are and what your work is about.
I am an award winning artist whose work has been exhibited in libraries and museums and appears in both corporate and international private collections.
My writing experience includes having served as managing editor of an international online publication with thousands of subscribers, editing both fiction and non-fiction manuscripts, as well as editing art and poetry for The Platform Review.
I am a pushcart prize nominee in the poetry category and wrote an award winning video script for a project in the corporate sector which was awarded Best in Show by Crain’s Magazine.
I’ve written several successful grants for Not-for-Profit arts organizations and curated an online art exhibition about the healing power of art.
I work with you on specifics like grammar, punctuation and word usage so that you can become a better writer.
My goal is to offer affordable service and help you build your marketing portfolio one step at a time.
